Fabric and Materials: Blue linen for the outer layer, natural linen for the lining, cotton coutil for the interlining, linen tape for the binding, oval reed for the boning, beeswax, Gutermann cotton thread, Gutermann buttonhole twist

Notes: Begun May 2009, finished October 2009. Mostly machine stitched, with hand-stitched eyelets and hand-applied linen tape over the seams and for the binding. I waxed the oval reed before inserting it into the channels. Major reference material was Costume Close Up: Clothing Construction and Pattern, 1750-1790 by Linda Baumgarten.
