Whew, the Fourth Annual Francaise Dinner is a wrap! I am exhausted, but very happy with how things turned out. In the end we had 38 attendees, which was a highly unexpected increase in size for the event. When we started planning we were worried we wouldn’t get more than 25 people. Gadsby’s Tavern Restaurant turned out to be the perfect period-appropriate venue, and we were very happy with their service. We also held a smashingly successful raffle, raising a goodly amount of money for next year’s dinner. Thank you to the many folks who donated amazing prizes! And tons of props to my fellow organizers, Maggie and Stephanie. Without them, I would not have made it through Saturday’s festivities.
Thank you to everyone who attended!
Without further ado (because, honestly, I’m too tired to write much more), here are my photos.
Here is my version of the group photo (Beth of BWPW Photography actually took this picture in five frames, and then I stitched them together into one panorama)
Raffle prizes arrayed on the mantle for display (we had donations from American Duchess, In the Long Run Designs, The Lady Detalle, Costumer’s Guide, Dames a la Mode, Jenny-Rose, Portmanteau Fashions, and Sarah Lizzi)
All of my photos are here.
