We arrived on Friday, which was clear but cold. And…we discovered that three out of six of us had forgotten swimsuits. Which was a problem, because we were going to the spa the next day. Enter a quick run to Target, where we picked up swimsuits and some other necessary supplies (wine, champagne, and gummy bears!).
Once we got back from Target, it was too late for us to get dressed in costumes for the chamber music concert we had tickets to. So we decided just to wear street clothes with tiaras. (Except Isabella, who was able to dress up super quickly.) The concert was beautiful–we were treated to music on the violin, viola da gamba, flute, and harpsichord, along with vocals.

After that, we went to the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museums
For dinner we went to the King’s Arms Tavern. I had a game pie and lemon ice. Delicious!
The next day, Sunday, we did some shopping and stopped by the Margaret Hunter Millinery Shop
And then it was time to head home. What a great weekend!
