Birthnight Ball 2015

I went to this year’s installment of the Birthnight Ball at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum last night, meant to recreate the 1799 birthday celebration of George Washington. Our group was Maggie and her husband Doug, Stephanie and her husband Mat, plus me. Unfortunately Mike had to stay home as he was feeling sick, and Isabella could not make it out from her place due to the weather.

We started the night with dinner at the Warehouse Bar and Grill, which was quite tasty. Lots of nice seafood on the menu. Then we went to the museum to dance for a couple hours. It was a large crowd, which meant the dances were kept pretty simple. Since Mike was not there, I danced with a number of new people, which was a nice change.
